Some feminists don’t seem to get this, so their opinions of meninism are how they react to a reflection of themselves. The reactions are quite telling.

Because the original ‘meninist’ tweets and posts simply reverse the sexes, I’ve reversed them back in these quotes and replaced ‘meninism’ with ‘feminism’, ‘men’ with ‘women’, ‘boys’ with ‘girls’, ‘misogyny’ with ‘misandry’, and ‘feminism’ with ‘men’s rights’.
So here we are: feminism if it attacked women instead of men, as described by feminists themselves:

Much like men’s rights, a complicated term, due to various uses and meanings depending on who you talk to. At its best, it refers to a female men’s rights activist, or as a speciality term for the drive for female equality under the subset of men’s rights. Usually refers to someone who doesn’t understand the purpose and meaning of men’s rights, thinking it’s the same as misogyny, though they usually realise their mistake.
At its worst, it refers to someone who counteracts men’s rights because they enjoy harassing men and/or have some crazy twisted ideas on what men’s rights is. These birdgirls will often claim they fight for women’s rights, but when further pressed you’ll often discover that it’s for a very particular kind of woman’s rights- whiter than 2 percent milk and straighter than a ruler.
